Alright Y'all what is the best thing about college?....okay I'll tell you, it's being able to watch Grey's Anatomy basically all day. Now you are probably wondering "did Megan watch Grey's Anatomy all day today" and the answer to that question is yes. I have spent all day with McDreamy sadly no McSteamy since he died (sorry spoiler alert).

Lets be honest I love the chaos and the drama of the show. I love the romance and the daily hookups in the on-call room. If only real hospitals were full of this many good looking people but sadly real life isn't this beautiful. Essie Obsession

Alright Y'all it's been one of those weeks.....

I have been majorly stressing this week over midterms and papers. When I check one thing off my list 20 more seem to pile on. Lucky for me I know a great stress reliever. When I'm not able to make it to the gym to work it off or to Yoga where I like to sweat it out, I reach for some nail polish. I don't know if any of y'all like painting your nails but it is a great stress reliever. I have recently started experimenting with fun patterns and colors, yes it does take longer but I think that it is so worth it.

Tonight I am rocking a neutral grey color because I just went and got my nails done over the weekend while my parents were here (couldn't pass up the chance for a free manicure).

When I'm not getting my nails done at a salon my favorite brand to use is Essie. They have the best range of colors and I think their polish lasts the longest. I also love that they are always coming out with new colors (it keeps things fun and exciting). Here are a few of my favorites...

The top three are my favorite for the fall/winter. The darker greens are so in style this fall and the purply pink has a hint of shimmer that makes any outfit a little more special. The bottom pink one is my all time favorite! Pink is definitely a girls best friend and goes with literally any outfit and any season! 

So here is my advice to y'all....GET PAINTING!!

Living the Chevron Life

Hey Ya'll,

In honor of an awesome gift I just received today from one of my best friends I am dedicating this post to all things chevron. A patter than it totally in right now and popping up everywhere! I don't think that there is anything I don't like about the chevron trend, I personally love the pattern. This can be proven when you look at the decorations I made for my dorm and realize that I painted chevron on everything.

 This can also be proven when you see that as I'm writing this post I realize that I am wearing a chevron dress....

Lastly the wonderful gift that my best friend in the entire world sent me today! How crafty is she?

so to all of my followers...if you are out there somewhere...start living the chevron life! I promise that it is totally in style and once you start you won't be able to stop!

Mason Jar Mania

Hey Y'all,
Tonight I attended a "Sweet Tea with Delta Gee" event, in order to get to know the sorority girls, where the craft of choice was nothing other than decorating MASON JARS! Nothing makes me happier than a good craft involving mason jars! Tonights craft involved lots of glitter (which I am still finding stuck to myself)  and ribbon. (look closely the glitter is at the base of the jar)

This is not my first go around with mason jar crafts. In preparation for college I obsessively pinned every cute dorm idea and craft I could find. I sadly didn't have enough time to make every craft that I pinned, however, I was able to make a pretty awesome toothbrush holder for my bathroom.
